Creator Story – Why Our Team Created This Course

Our team created this course based on our personal experience seeking ways to integrate yoga and meditation into daily life. Many of us faced stress, overload, and the feeling of having no time for ourselves. We searched for simple, clear, and practical methods that could be applied daily, but the information was often fragmented or too complex for beginners. This personal struggle became the foundation for creating a course that helps organize yoga and meditation practice in a structured and easy-to-understand way. Our goal was not just to produce materials but to offer a comprehensive resource that supports every student in developing skills and mindfulness. We aim for anyone, regardless of skill level, to experience the benefits of yoga and meditation at their own pace and without pressure.


Credentials – Experience and Qualifications

Our team has over 10 years of combined experience in yoga, meditation, and wellness practices. Each team member has completed specialized training and certifications, allowing them to safely guide learners of all levels. Over the years, we have worked with many international studios and organizations, including small wellness centers and online platforms. Together, we have conducted over 5,000 individual and group sessions, helping thousands of students establish personal practices and integrate yoga and meditation into daily life. We focus on sharing practical knowledge that can be easily applied at home or at work and supporting students at every step of their journey.


Full Biography and Previous Work
Karina Shcherba - Owner

Founder and lead instructor, Karina Shcherba, began her journey from a personal need to find balance between work and life. After years of learning and experimenting with different yoga and meditation techniques, she developed structured approaches that combine simplicity with effectiveness. Her experience includes working at international wellness centers, collaborating with online platforms, and leading private and group sessions for students of all levels. Additionally, the team includes Rowan Caldwell (Wellness Consultant), Kellan Whitaker (Yoga Flow Instructor), and Elara Hayes (Meditation Facilitator), who collectively develop the digital courses. All team members have taught over 2,000 students both online and offline, applying a practical approach to integrating yoga and meditation into daily life.

Our team actively creates materials to help learners build their own practice: written lessons, exercises, breathwork techniques, daily rituals, and mindfulness methods. We believe that everyone can find their rhythm and practice style, and our digital products allow doing this at convenient times, with gradual progression. All materials are designed to provide step-by-step learning, deep understanding of fundamentals, and support at every stage.

Somavelle’s mission is to create a space where learners can gain knowledge, skills, and resources for their personal practice. We aim for each student to feel supported and clear in their practice, regardless of initial experience. Our team combines experience, professionalism, and attention to learners’ needs to ensure digital courses are clear, practical, and enjoyable to follow.
